The U.S. is rumored to be drafting sanctions that threaten to sever the ties of some Chinese banks to the global financial system in an attempt to stop China's commercial support for Russian military production.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) steadfastly opposed the hypocritical practice of the U.S. of shirking its responsibility to China and adding fuel to the fire.
